The music genre is characterized by monkey noises in the background and a flute. I feel like it plays in media in goofy, humourous situations where the character needs to sneak around incognito. It may have been associated with a particular movie or show, but the elements that I associate with it are:
- A pink flamenco (the animal, or the garden sculpture)
- Miami (????)
- Detective hat (the fedora-style one)
- Sunglasses
- The 1970s or the 1980s
- A "beach-side" alcoholic beverage (Like a Pina Colada)
Based on the above there may have been some popular movie around the time I was very young where a pink flamenco was a detective in 1970s Miami and it used this style of music extensively.
What I'm curious to find out is the name of the actual music genre and read up on its wiki article to find out how it got associated with sleuthing or sneaking around
