So I remember this film where the beginning takes place in an old abandoned Spain-ish type town where two kids go to the basement of a building and one of them gets killed by a vampire. The rest of the movie is in the present and the abandoned city is flooded. I think someone's grandfather was responsible for something so that is why the vampires attack. That's all I can remember:/ Edit: now thinking it maybe/ maybe not be vampires and maybe not early 2000's. oh and saw it on SciFi channel when i was young.
