The book starts with a depiction of Mel Apt's fatal X-2 crash, and an illustration across the top of two pages on how he ended up tumbling out of control.
The other section I distinctly remember was an illustration on how at the proper speed and altitude, a pilot ejecting over one coast of the US, could end up landing on the opposite coast.
