The illustration is incredibly detailed. There are several levels of buildings, roads, and billboards. The viewpoint is from high up. It's actually a series of images of the same city but at different times of day (night, sunset, daytime etc) but the daytime image seemed much more common. I used it as a desktop background on an old computer.
