Basically there was this tournament you fought your way through
The characters all looked a bit like this
In order to win, you had to defeat all the characters by running into their backs
If you ran into eachothers fronts you just harmlessly clinked lances and got hit back a bit
There was also a gravity element and the entire map was a bunch of floating planets that you ran around and could jump between
