I apologize if a lot of this is vague. I’m trying my best to remember as much as I can, and this is the most I can come up with.

I first remember seeing this book around 9 years ago, since my first encounter with it was in my grade school’s library. I remember that the cover had city streets from the top-down perspective in pixel art, and the actual material of the cover was read.I believe the title was relatively short, and I believe that it ended up making some sort of acronym. The book itself was also a part of a series with 2 other books, one blue and one that I believe was black. My school had the blue book, and I think I only ever saw the third book once. Each book was hardcover, and they were all around the size of a textbook.

In terms of contents, all three of the books had a ton of random information inside of them. This information was typically provided by cartoons/other graphics. I remember that there were a white a few pages where the cartoons were in the style of 3D models. A lot of the first book was history based, and I’ve included some of the sections that I can remember below.

  • A choose your fighter section with various figures from the Crusades. I can remember there being Saladin and Richard the Lionhearted, but other than that I can’t remember anyone else on those pages.

  • What amounted to a strip of photos around Edo that involved one of the shoguns (Can’t remember which one)

  • A series of blog posts from a Viking girl detailing life at the time

  • I’m pretty sure the third book had some cartoon-like diagram of something along the lines of the Cheyenne Mountain Complex
