A few years ago, I found an AMV tribute to cartoons from the 80's. It was set to the music of "Holding out for a hero" or "I need a hero" by Bonnie Tyler. Now, I can't seem to find it at all.
Something I distinctly remember was that clips of the cartoon intro were used. In my first comment, I have linked to three videos that it definitely is NOT. The intros in those videos have clips that are separated, whereas the video I remember had clips from a given show's intro in one place, though not including the full intro for any one cartoon. I especially remember, probably in the second half of the video, a clip from the Galaxy Rangers intro with the camera going past all four galaxy rangers with a space background. I'm also sure Thundercats were also in there, and probably (but I ma not sure) a clip from the 80's cartoon COPS, among various other intros.
It might have had a title like "Holding out for an 80s cartoon hero", or something like that.
