I don't know the Title nor the author. It's a sci-fi book. Held in the future. Humans have been in contact with aliens and figure out they look just like them except for ?orange? Blood, ears are lower on the head.
Part of the book is they just had someone invent a new type of seat for space travel that is gel based.
Plot twist is one of the humans aboard the main cast vessel was actually an alien the whole time.
I've been looking for this book for like ten years.
