I saw it a long time ago, but can't remember much about it. I feel like the route had something to do with 'The bull and...' (or bear, buffalo, rabbit. I honestly don't remember what animal name might have been in the title.)
I remember that the main character was a man living on his own at the start of the movie. He has some OCD and hoarder traits. He lives off of microwavable vegetarian dinners and doesn't like leaving his house. He keeps having flashbacks of himself running away from something/someone in a field at night. Possibly from the regret of something he may have done. He soon has to leave his house after a very long time due to his microwavable dinner boxes having been chewed through by mice.
There's also a scene later in the movie where him and his friend are at a restaurant. He tried ordering the vegetarian option, but is then interrupted by the waitress going on a tangent on the phone about hating her job and how the chef always pisses in the vegetarian option. His friend he's at dinner with orders without a care and immediately goes to eat his food as soon as it arrives. The main character tries to reason with his friend to look at what he's eating, but the friend responds with "But I don't want to". He still ends up looking at his food and says "Oh my God" as the camera gives a close up of the gross looking food. That's all I remember of that scene.
Think there's another part of the movie where they share dialogue over a taxidermized bear in the lobby of a hotel.
I don't remember anything else. I know I never finished the movie, but it's still stuck with me all these years anyway. I'd appreciate any help in figuring out what the movie is called. Thanks!
