There was a video on Youtube which may or may not have been a scene from a longer film. It looked like an indie project, or low buget project, but not bad visually. In the scene, a male elf and a male human are talking, outside somewhere, I think in the wilderness. The focus was the elf talking about how, while elves are immortal/long lived, they become tired of life and they envy human mortality. I think the elf was also bald.
Definitely NOT one of the Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings films.
