Okay, so I've been trying to hunt down this film for years. It was on late night on the television (Film4 in the uk if anyone is curious), but have never been able to find or see it anywhere since. Basically starts off that there is a new sheriff just moved into this small town (locals are all very close and what not), and on his first day (I think it is) the town's most serious murder has escaped. The native American man was imprisoned for the rape and murder of his pregnant wife - she was actually raped and murdered by town folk who wanted their land for oil or development, not 100% sure on that one. It then becomes a game of cat and mouse between the sheriff (who doesn't know the truth till the end) and the native American man who is mute all the way through the movie until the end. The Native American man hunts down and kills all the men involved in the crime, about 4/5 or so and so on. Think the mayor was the main guy who organised the crime to set up the native man.

This movie had plagued me for years, and no one has ever been able to help me or give me a title. Glad I came across this sub, hopefully someone here can help. I hope this was enough details, if there is any other questions I'll try help, but think that should be enough to ping in someone ones head if they know it or not. Anyways, thanks, please help!
