My mom made this for me but has no memory of what it was. I remember she considered it not a success and never made it again. I think it was some kind of breakfast food. It was intended to be served on toast or with toast similar to the way creamed beef on toast is served.
The food was an opaque gray/white paste, it was very sweet. I don't know how to google this! I really liked it so if anyone has any guesses please let me know!
Edit: It was kinda like if you took oatmeal and filtered all the oats out and just left that paste behind. Think pasty rather than sticky.
