This was an older western movie probably playing on Turner Classic Movies. It was in color though so it makes me think it was from the 60s or 70s. A fat maybe mentally challenged man was sitting at table, he was wearing overalls I think. He was arguing with his elderly mother and put a pistol in his mouth. She was firmly telling him not to do that when he shot himself. I remember a lot of blood pouring out of his mouth and it being kind of purplish.
