[TOMT][MUSIC][Rock song] Recorded a clip of a song at an ice rink but couldn't make out the lyrics, has distinctive guitar riff

Post Body

There's a song I often hear at my local ice rink but I don't know what it's called or who it's by. It was played yesterday and I managed to record a clip of it, however the quality isn't as good as I'd hoped and it's hard to pick out the song over the background noise. Due to the poor sound quality even when the song was playing live, I couldn't pick out any lyrics. I've included the recording as I can pick out the guitar riff and not sure if someone might recognise it. I've skipped the recording to about 8 seconds in when I can pick out the song; at about 13/14 seconds I'm pretty sure I can hear the lyrics 'so come on baby' but this line is so common the search engines aren't picking it up. https://youtu.be/Cu61Gy8DqPE?t=8

I'm not sure about the time period, I'm guessing 90s/00s, but could possibly be more recent. The song is pretty fast and has each line has an emphasis on the first word during the verses. The chorus has that guitar riff maybe 4 times and sounds pretty distinctive but I don't recognise it. The vocals kind of reminded me of Dave Grohl or the guy from Nickelback but I don't think it's either of them. I've checked through quite a number of well known bands but haven't found anything that matches the vocals. If the recording quality is too bad to work it out I'll try to make a better quality recording the next time I hear it.
