Hey there, I'm trying to find a movie that I saw in theatres at some point in the 2000s, I think. It was a horror movie with some kind of infected humans, in a southern setting. The main character is maybe a doctor of some kind? The biggest thing I can remember is that there's this final set piece through a truck stop/some kind of restaurant near the highway. I also remember maybe it having to do with some kind of water contamination, but i may be wrong.

Sorry for the vagueness, and I hope someone an help.
