What was the name of this movie: a little boy gets this creature, he messes up feeding him and something bad happens. I know, I know—this sounds exactly like Gremlins... but this movie, I'm pretty sure, was a Disney original that aired in the early 2000's. I think the mistake was feeding this creature too much. I think it was only supposed to eat once in its entire life. I really wish I could give more details, but that's why I was trying to look it up, to get more details on it to tell my 8 year old about it.
