I'm reasonably sure the show was called "Space Jump" because I remembered it had the same name as a theatre sports game. I think it was done with puppets, like Stingray/Thunderbirds/etc, but I don't think it was done by the same people. It aired at some point in the mornings in New Zealand in the 90s. It was a typical campy 60s/70s style sci-fi show, with puppets in space-suits on a space-station somewhere. I think there was a cliffhanger one episode where a guy in a spacesuit was stuck outside or something?
I don't think it was a particularly noteworthy show, but I just find it odd that I can't find it anywhere. It seems like I just get stuff about the guy who jumped from the edge of space a couple of years ago. It may be that it was a show from South Africa or Australia or Japan that didn't have huge success overseas but had a brief showing in New Zealand at some point.
