There was a flash game I played years ago, probably in the years 2000-2006, which was a board game. It was asymmetrical, with each team having different pieces. It was an isometric view, either simple 3D or 2D isometric sprites. The board was a square, with a gray background and pieces I believe (at the very least, I believe it was a very dark environment). I think I remember certain tiles on the ground were missing and you couldn't move onto the board, so the board itself was not asymmetrical either. The pieces were humanoids and had powers for their attacks. On your team there was a way through IIRC suicide other pieces to make a angel-like character go beserk and max out their stats/get a different walking pattern/attacks.
Sites I used back in the day were addictinggames, miniclip, onemorelevel, blacksheep(?) among others, but sadly I don't remember which site. I just have a distinct memory of playing it as a child and have fondly remembered it ever since.
