alright so a very long time ago there was i was at my library and i saw this manga. this will be my description about 4 years later. so what i remember about it is that there is this school that's for magic people and maybe monsters (no it's not vampire x rosaries, not on this one) in it there is this girl. all of the magic people have little pet type things that they disguise as tattoos. they are black and super cute (but in a manly way n' stuff). so i think her mom is a teacher at the school or at least is pretty connected to it. i remember them hunting down this lady at a cemetery and it being a really good fight scene. her mom dies(maybe) and i think its like right before she goes to school and then she has to go on an adventure. so yeah i know this description is not the most... well descriptive but it's been a while and i just wanted to know if anyone has any leads or knows the series.
