There was a book about baseball that I read when I was in elementary school that, even as a girl, I really loved. Here's a really cloudy and questionable run-down of what I remember about it: Something about a boy whose parents died? and he plays baseball to cope. His therapist or adopted family or something take apart a baseball with him? Something about breaking down the baseball and seeing what's inside and how it works helps him to understand his of grief. Google has not yielded much help, but hopefully someone recognizes this. Thanks!
