I've never posted so here it goes. This is a children’s sci-fi like film. I remember watching it in late 90's. About 3 children I want to say two girls and one boy. They're home is in a wooded area for the most part and out back is possibly a big barn and a huge rock (rock important at the end of the movie). Somehow these kids get thrown into an alternate universe where I don’t remember there being any parents. Its dark and cloudy and creepy and all the homes look the same and there are designated times for everything. I remember a scene where the kids are walking up the street of all these look alike homes and see in each driveway a kid playing. (one was playing jump rope) and then some kind of announcement aired outside saying something to the extent that play time was over and its now on to the next designated daily task. I remember possibly a watchtower type light scanning for anyone not obeying. I don’t remember much more detail or what the point of the movie was but I remember the last part the kids end up back in their world with mom and possibly dad. During the reunion one of the smaller kids goes out back to this big rock and stands on it and looks up at the stars as the family follows him/her out and stands beside him/her. I’ve been trying to remember this movie for a very very long time. Thank you for your help!

Please note this is not the dark crystal. Everyone I talk to about this throws that out there however I don’t remember the dark crystal ever being anything like this 😂
