I'm not entirely sure if it was Russian or not but the song was used in a an AMV years back when I was addicted to them. I think it was for either the anime Clannad or K-on! but I'm not entirely sure on that. The genre sounded a lot like nu-metal or metalcore with a lot of double bass usage and a very catchy sung chorus but some heavy guitar playing. The name of the band seemed like it was in Russian but the song title was in english for the amv but I just can't quite remember what the band/song were and I've been trying to find it forever. Even for Russian or whatever they are, I find this band might be a little obscure because it isn't bands like Flymore or obvious ones.
