This might be a bit of a long shot, but I'm hoping to find a children's book for my husband. It was a children's book about pirates. The biggest detail he remembers is that the captain had a chip on his shoulder and it was a literal chip (french fry). He believes it would've been something either by an Australian author or that he got the book in Australia (he lived in Papua New Guinea). Additionally, we're estimating it would've been something he read in late 90's/early 2000's.
