So, I remember the music video very clearly. It was a kind of emo looking guy in like a red plaid shirt with an acoustic guitar and he was decorating his house to surprise his girlfriend (possibly for an anniversary?). The only lyrics I can remember are "that I'm coming home to(I think that's the line)"

The song had an acoustic vibe not unlike Matt Nathanson, and I feel like the artist had a common sounding name. I know it was featured on VH1's Jumpstart program at one point. I'm pretty sure he was a one hit wonder.
