Back in the 1990s or 2000s maybe, I saw a trailer on TV for an upcoming movie, maybe a horror movie. As I recall, there was a guy in a phone booth. He looked up and saw what looked like tentacles coming out of the top of the phone booth and going out in all directions. The implication was that, similar to "They Live," he (and only he) was seeing the real world instead of the fake world that people had been programmed to see. The tentacles were connections between the phone booth and other things in the world. I remember thinking that I would like to see the movie, but I never did, and of course I have forgotten its name. And Google is no help at all.
Edit: SOLVED, the movie is Branded
