Hello all and thanks for helping in what may possibly be a wild goose chase. I've never been able to work out if this was a really vivid dream or it was a Horror film I've never seen since.

Now, to start off, if this was real: I was very young when I first saw this. I remember being looked after by my deadbeat Aunt and I must have put this video in the video player. She didn't realise what I was watching until I screamed blue murder from the front room. With that being the case, I don't think this film can be older than 1990/1991 based on my age at the time.

The only scenes that I remember: A doll or puppet is bought for a young boy or girl by the mum. I seem to remember it being in the back of the car and the boy/girl is freaked out by it for some reason.

Then the scene that I started screaming at: The little boy/girl goes into their room and the doll/puppet is on a chest of drawers. They walk slowly toward it when the head of the doll/puppet swings round to face them. The boy/girl runs back to the door and the doors slam shut followed by the puppet either shooting lasers from its eyes, or its eyes glow red.

It's a very vivid memory, but I don't know if it was a straight-to-video movie or anything, I know literally nothing about it other than these memories/possibly made-up dreams. Thanks!
