In the early 2000s I watched this one movie while I was on vacation in Nicaragua. I remember watching it because it was the only thing in English that was on. I was pretty young, maybe 5-7.
Anyway, what I remember from the film is that the protagonist was a bit of a nerd, and that in one scene a jock-bully threw food (maybe it was spaghetti?) on him. Then there was a scene where a bunch of kids in all black were practicing at a shooting range, but the nerd wasn't with them IIRC. Anyway, the nerd calls a girl he has a crush on and asks her to skip school with him, and she replies with something like "I can't, I have drama and I have student council...". She came off as a very studious girl, but obviously still popular. Then the day of the shooting came, and in order to save the life of his crush the nerd tried to block the door and stop the shooters, who were the same people in all black from the earlier scene. There was a brief dialogue between them, and then I can only assume the nerd let the shooters in because the next thing I remember is a very surreal scene which implies that the shooting went through.
Anyway, in the scene, the nerd is first inside a coffin or a coffin-ish container, which is kicked and tousled around by various people. I remember the color green her for some reason. The nerd is then let outside and finds he is in what I can only assume is the school theater and is on the stage with the victims. In the theater are several of the nerd's acquaintances. The victims all have red ribbons tied to a certain part of their body, and they each go up to the nerd and say "I was shot in [x location]." The nerd's crush says she was shot in the heart (I know, right?) and the jock-bully says he was shot in the stomach. There are others, too, I just don't remember who they were or where they said they were shot. Anyway, the nerd starts going off on this rambling monologue which I don't remember much of, but he says he misses when he was close to his father and you see a shot of his father in the audience.
That's all I can remember. Hopefully that helps?
