Okay, so this is an odd story. Back when I was a kid at summer camp, the camp nurse "diagnosed" me (obviously I now understand this was alternative medicine, but whatever) by using this strange technique involving another person. I vaguely remember the nurse putting her hand on another person's shoulder (she used her daughter), and the daughter had her hand on my shoulder, and the nurse would ask herself questions and her arm would twitch. It was quite odd. Anyway, she came to her little diagnosis by asking herself questions and seeing if her arm muscle would spasm or not.

I can't find anything like this through Google. It SEEMS like applied kinesiology, but the descriptions and images don't look like it at all. Anyone have an idea?

EDIT: a couple hours later with no ideas. i know it sounds super strange, but i also remember finding out what it was a couple years ago by reading something online, so i know it wasn't just a one-off unique thing!
