I remember a music video from a few years ago. It featured this band or this song that was Americana or something like that. The key feature of the video was the stop motion action. While stop motion itself isn't that new. This video specifically used people standing in a set of squares holding signs. They could flip up signs like LEDs and created montages like EQ stuff and many of which were inspired by video games like a Galaga scene, I think a Pong scene.
There was a perspective shot i think I remember where the lead singer was "yelling" but close to the screen and way behind him the people in boxes were making it look like stuff was coming out of his mouth. Sort of like this

That was proper quick. Seeing it again I realize the bit I messed up. Not stop motion. Looks like they slowed down the song during recording. Which IMO made it even more impressive.
