The most I can remember is that one of the main characters has these little blades on a set of thumb-rings and cuts his face off/open... the protagonist is possibly a mortician/son-of and discovers a 'breed' of people that avoid the sun in some kind of graveyard type place.
I can almost remember the end of the movie being one or a few of them going into the sunlight to protect the rest of their home/hive.
the thing that most stands out is the guy with the little sharkfin looking blades on the thumb rings, and that he ends up doings like a circle around his face to peel it back/off. HELP!
edit: Im sure that thumbring dude is one of the first 'ghouls' at the beginning of the movie and is later a center character at the end.
