Post Body

What the subject says - it's a story in a standup comedy routine, I want to say from the last ten years, comedian tells a story about going into a town and meeting a guy who says he runs the town and can get him anything he wants, makes himself out to be a big shot, to absurd degrees. Turns out, he really can follow through with the big talk and everyone does treat him like the king.

It is NOT this, but this is basically the idea of the first half of the story, if a bit less aggressive (starts at 3:22): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-AnAqL4u-s&t=202s

Thought it might be Mulaney but can't seem to find anything?
