Read it a few months ago (tempted to say march, maybe earlier). It was from tge point of view of a psychologist(?) interviewing a teenager who attempted suicide by cutting his wrists. The kid talks about how he woke up one day and a bunch of men burst in, and slaughtered him and his family. He then woke up, thought it was a dream... and it happened again.
And again.
And again.
Over and over again, each time the people finding new, worse ways to torture him. He tried everything to get away, till he just woke up and slit his wrists. Then they didn't come. It then ended with a really chilling line like "Well... everytime I died, I woke up there again. I'm wondering if, one day when I'm old and on my death bed, I'll close my eyes... and open them in my room again."
I feel like it was written by a famous nosleeper, but I'm not sure. Seriously was one kf my favorite stories I've read. Thanks!
