I remember seeing this scifi/thriller short on io9 a millions years ago. But basically the film starts of someone recording on a video tape recorder of a girl who's going off to college. They get a knock on the door and it's someone with a letter claiming it's from the girl in the future, asking her younger self to not go to college and study what she's planning on study. Because she'll invent time travel and it'll be disastrous.
Basically, the short film repeatedly shows this interaction over and over again, each time minor details changing, and also with a loud clanging noise coming just before the person knocks on the door.
Ultimately leading viewers to believe that the people in the film don't realize that by continually "jumping" back to prevent the problem, they're actually causing it.
Any ideas?
