This is a stretch, but I'm going to try. It's been bugging me for forever, just because I can just barely remember this movie, but I remember it really made me scared/sad or something when I was a kid.

The scene, as I believe I remember it, is of a boy riding his bike, trying to save his friend, who seems to be fading away or dying or SOMETHING. It definitely has some element of fantasy to it, as I think the bike may have been flying. These are really kind of vague memories, so I apologize if they're unclear. It was like...a group of kids, on a journey of some sort, and one of their friends was like...fading or dying or something and they were trying to save him. Like I said, it may have been semi-halloween themed (I think I remember a scarecrow somewhere). I was 1999 or earlier for sure. I was pretty young when I watched it. I want to say it was probably even earlier than that. It was likely recorded from tv on a VHS (we watched movies at my grandmas house all the time, and just about every movie she had was VHS recorded from TV). The boy on the bike MAY have had blonde hair.....the boy he was saving may have had red hair. I know the brain can create false memories, and I might be mixing him up with another cartoon character. Anyway, it would be major nostalgia overload if someone could figure out what movie this is!
