Post Body

Alright, Reddit hive mind! Y’all have come through once for me, and I need your help more than ever!

I recently deleted my TikTok. I’m a little bummed, but it had to be done. A few months before I deleted it, I saw a video recommending a really cool album that, to the best of my memory, could be described as a LoFi, 80’s style hold music album. The music was microtonal/detuned-sounding, slightly jazz-influenced and sounded JUST like something you might’ve heard while on the phone in the 80’s, to the point where it sounds like it's coming out of a phone speaker. It was produced within the last few years, I’m 90% sure it was available on SoundCloud and all the streaming services (pretty sure I found it in Apple Music), and gave a sense not only of nostalgia, but the same feeling that looking at liminal spaces gives.

The album cover had the typical shades of hot pink, light blue, etc, but I don’t believe it was of any specific image-more abstract artwork. It was available on vinyl, and I’m pretty sure it was produced in Japan. The sound is eerie, yet comforting, super low-quality lofi sound, and I really hope I can find it again.

Thanks so much in advance! Let me know if you have any clarifying questions.

Happy Holidays, all ♥️♥️♥️
