This feels like something from a real long time ago. Maybe a B movie or TV movie. All I can remember is, it’s about a sweet old woman, grandmotherly type, with a handkerchief on her head, and for some reason I feel like she had a big knife in her purse. I can’t believe I saw any of this for how young I must’ve been. I feel like there was a element of her being a hitchhiker or seemingly frail and on her own and was taken in by family at some point. I just remember the ending is she has been picked up by somebody new, and they’re talking in the car, and he stops at a light. It’s night and the last last shot is a wide angle and the car sitting at a light, like I said, and the blinker is on but it doesn’t go anywhere and the implication is she just killed that guy.

I have to have seen this, I can’t be making it up. Although, I’m sure some things were conflated or imagined in my memory, but I’d love to know what that was.
