I was watching The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey and for some reason, I kept thinking of this scene that I thought was in it. Maybe I'm confusing it with something else. In it, two characters are on a bench inside a fake senior citizen village, like the kind they use for dementia patients. Samuel L Jackson's character is talking to some Man In Black type character who's trying to reason with him but there's an alarm going off and a bunch of soldiers are coming. They're there to stop Samuel L Jackson's character and they probably think because he's an old man it'll be easy. But he's actually a trained assassin so he's going to kill a LOT of people. Another big part of this is that up until that point the assassin had memory problems or something wrong and he miraculously recovered recently due to something. But soon he'll be back like he used to be. That's why he has to escape, but the Man In Black is saying since he's going to be like he used to be there's no point in doing so.
I might be confusing a lot of different parts but a black guy sitting with some ominous guy on a bench while they're talking with a lot of other context in the background is definitely the main thing. I thought it was in this Ptolemy Gray show but it's not. It was definitely released within the past ten years and no more than twenty.
I looked through Samuel L Jackson's filmography and the closest thing I could think of that was anything similar was The Sunset Limited but that's probably not it. I started to think it from was some random sci-fi anthology show but I still don't know for certain.
