[TOMT] [Classic Novel] Famous book about a man who steals someone else’s identity after he murders him? I think the title includes a man’s name?

Post Body

I sort of remember the plot. The two men go on holiday together in another country. And the narrator is obsessed with the other man, who does not appreciate his advances. And for some reason the narrator kills the man (I think by bludgeoning him and pushing him off a boat). And then he steals the man’s identity. I don’t remember how it ends but there might be sequels to it?

Thank you!
