Hey guys, so the book in question is a fantasy/adventure book from possibly the 80's era.
Was a tween style adventure/fantasy
It was about a brother and sister who get dragges into this witches world and along their journey trying to reach the castle they come across multiple scenarios and characters where they had to solve problems or discover realities about themselves or their personalities.
Each scenario they ran into involved heavy moralistic and thought provoking situations which very clevery drew the reader into thinking and realising these things within themselves while they were reading.
I remember the book cover being possibly green or yellow and for some reason i cant stop thinking it had a standing frog with a cane (wizard style) or some sort sentient frog on the cover.
From memory the frog talked and played a decent part in the story.
Only other thing i can i think of is i have the words, 'Journey to the gem stone' or Gem stone Journey' or something as some possible words for the title.
I'f i remember more i'll try update!
Sorry its not much!
Thanks heaps guys
