[TOMT][Cartoon] Probably an 80s tv show involving a protagonist human who got access to some sort of box. With that box, I think, he could create some sort of humanoids that had to sleep head down, so their energy source (some sort of goo) could go back to their head.

My memory is very blurry, but please, help.
I know the box is important, but I'm not sure if it was used for the creation of humanoids, or just the goo... and I'm not sure if all humanoids had to sleep head down, or only some, or just one.
