I remember sometimes catching this show on TV when I was a kid. It was a painting show in the same style as Bob Ross (showing you the techniques in a soothing way), but it definitely was not Bob Ross.
The one thing I vividly remember was that one technique where you put different shades of paint on the same brush and then paint one flower petal with it in one go, and the way the paint was arranged, it automatically had shading and depth. I think there also might have been more than just painting on canvas - I think at one point there was a mailbox that got painted?
I am pretty sure the host was a woman, possibly blonde?
It could only have been on PBS (either WGBH or NHPTV), CBS, or ABC. We did not have any other channels. Given the content I'm going to assume it was PBS.
