I don’t remember a ton of details, but I think it was live-action and part of an anthology. In it there was a robot child (possibly built as a replacement for a deceased son), and the episode ended with the child very creepily petting the family cat, but his metal hands end up killing it instead. I’ve been wanting to Google this, but I’m scared I might get some unwanted results if I search “Robot boy skins cat.” :|
