So first of all I’m sorry if this doesn’t belong here. I’ve seen similar posts and just didn’t know where else to post this.

In my state, they were supposed to implement a porn ban on July 1st. The ban would force you to verify your age with an ID to be able to access adult websites. About a week ago, PornHub decided that they weren’t going to comply with this and just completely restricted access to their site from my state early.

A judge here in my state has blocked the ban, and now it’s business as usual for Pornhub and other adult sites who are all back online and running. However, my preferred site, Spankbang (which was working as of two days ago), now redirects you to the cam site LiveJasmin if you try to open the website.

I went to the livejasmin contact page and tried to speak with a representative in the live chat option. After telling me it was because I “lived in a state that required verification”, I told them a judge had blocked the ban and we do not have to verify at this time. I was just told “Sorry for the inconvenience. You can verify through our site (which they stated their company now owned Spankbang) and I would be able to view the original site.”

This didn’t make a lot of sense to me, but they basically told me they “didn’t have the information needed to assist me” so I said “ok, how do I verify through your website then?” I was then told that I needed to buy some credits on their cam site to verify my age. I told the person “That makes absolutely no sense. Why would I need to purchase credits to a site that I don’t even use just to verify my age for a free porn site?” And basically told him I wasn’t going to do that because it doesn’t make sense. He then told me “I respect your decision”.

My question is: WTF is this bullshit? So I’m basically locked out of my favorite site for no reason and cannot figure out how to remedy this situation. What the hell? Sorry for the long ridiculous post but this is very frustrating.

In conclusion: FUCK LIVEJASMIN, and their scamming ass customer support staff.
