Edit: Found!!!!!

I'm looking for a game that was on one of those "a bunch of games on a disc" type of things.

It was a top down maze game where you controlled a purple character with a sword. Character occupied 1 square and your sword occupied another square. Every time your character moved or aimed the sword a different direction the enemies in the game moved. So it was 100% on a grid and everything happened based on every key stroke you made. I remember there were spiders for enemies along with a yellow version of you. There's might have been obstacles but don't remember.

I remember of it being violent so every time you killed a spider or an enemy in general there would be a small explosion of blood. Also remember that when you died your character would make a super loud annoying scream. I think there was unlimited lives and you just restarted at the beginning of the maze when you died.

I remember playing the game on I think Windows 98 or 2000. I was in elementary school when I played it so I don't remember all the details.

Platform(s): PC

Genre: Puzzle? Pretty much a volant maze game

Estimated year of release: 98 - early 2000s Got my Xbox in 2002 so definitely before then.

Graphics/art style: Grid based and simple. Similar to what you might expect from a Gameboy game

Notable characters: purple dot with sword

Notable gameplay mechanics: everything moves when you do

Other details: Think the game collection thing came from Staples or Walmart.
