Genre: Point and click game that turns into a side scrolling platform Adventure game

Estimated year of release: Late 80s to early 90's

Graphics/art style: The point and click portions may have been Black and White, but then changes over to 8-bit color when you start a platforming level

Notable characters: The only two characters I remember are from the point and click portions. A tall thin person and a short chubby character who would hop out of closets and dressers when you opened them

Notable gameplay mechanics: It's been 30 years since I've played this game, so it'll be hard to describe the mechanics. I think you were exploring a motel, which may have been in black and white or shades of grey, and would go through rooms opening closets and dressers for.. possibly potions? Sometimes a thin man or short fat person would jump out at you, and you could chase them. If you opened certain closet doors or safes it would take you to Side scrolling Platform levels. I don't remember much about these parts other then the colors were vibrant, and a couple bosses would have little Life up vials to give you after you beat them.
