I was redirected to here so maybe someone can help me. Now I am trying to remember a certain fighting game I used to play when I was a kid back in the PS1/ early PS2 days. Well here is what a remember.

The game was an arena fighter much like Naruto Storm or Castlevania Judgement. The game was very simple to play. The match starts with both players on opposite sides of the map at that range they can only shoot projectiles, if I remember correctly it was like magic blast in like a burst formation but I could be wrong. Anyway as the players get closer to each other they switch to hand to hand combat only until either one moves a far enough distance to shoot projectiles again or you get comboed and launched to the other side and rinse and repeat until someone wins.

As I said this was back in the PS1/ early PS2 age I do not know if it was a PS1 game or PS2 game all I know is I played it as a kid and can't remember what the name was or any character names. I would appreciate the help to remember this fun game from my childhood. Thank you for reading and I hope to get some type of reply 😁😁
