Ahoy, fellow Nerds and wasters of free-time.
So years ago - likely a decade give or take - I was a young'un and didn't have any money of my own, and ventured around the wonderful world of the Internet in search of free games to play. One such game I played for a while - but to this day, i cannot recall it's name. Hell - if it's even still active or around.
It was an online card game - multiple 'factions' you could pick from, and it had it's own game launcher too that you downloaded online. When you picked your faction and got a deck going - there would actually be a map when you played. You would use your cards and it would spawn the unit - or use the card to buff your units. And then move said units along the map - through and around terrain - to get to your opponent. It had a more pixelated design to the 'in-game' map.
A few card examples.. There were a lizard / dino / dragon faction. I recall there being a 'Sniper' - was like a chameleon man with a sniper rifle. As well as them having a large T-Rex as a unit. And their 'Broodmother' looked like a Scalie Babe with wings - pretty nice body, basically naked. (Yes, I've tried googling things like 'Online card game Broodmother' - all I get are Spiders and crap.)
There was also a darker faction deck, though I can't quite recall units there. I know there was one that stood out, some sort of dragon worm or something.. Pale, massive, monstrous stats on it.
They had some sort of a 'righteous' faction / deck, or.. I don't even know what they were called. I know they were obnoxious to deal with, and they had a gryphon riding guy (dwarf maybe?) who had a really annoying ranged attack. (No it's not anything Blizzard related).
Anybody got any ideas?
