Post Body

Platform(s): It was a mobile game I only played on my mom’s iPhone. If it was on other phone systems I have no idea.

Genre: One of those infinite-runner action platformers. I vaguely remember it had a pro-environmentalist message.

Estimated year of release: Early 2010s(?) possibly slightly earlier but not before 2007.

Graphics/art style: Simple and cartoony, but not pixel art. The lines were smooth. The colors were bright and lively (other than the volcanic section that was literally on fire), greenery was everywhere. Over time the sky would get darker and more grey, but even the thorns that could harm you were bright ass green.

Notable characters: The main character you played as was a bird, I think he was green? Anyways he’s trying to fly away as far as possible (I don’t remember why. Maybe to find his lost son??) and would inevitably crash.

Notable gameplay mechanics: The most important things I remember is that this wasn’t like flappy bird’s slow and frustrating gameplay. It was extremely fast paced and was more focused on reaction time. You had to avoid randomly generated obstacles all while you had a limited amount of stamina (or “wing beats”). You could only get more stamina by collecting items midair, there was no upgrades or equipment. There wasn’t anyone chasing behind you if you didn’t go fast enough, the game did that on its own, but there were midair obstacles.

Other details: I know that you would start in a rainforest and eventually would end up in a volcanic wasteland, but I don’t remember anything past that point.
