i have this memory of playing a game that had SNES like graphics, top down, and i think it was RPG-like but with action elements and i remember it being something like satoru iwata's last big programming project? i looked at his game list and i couldn't find it - maybe i'm thinking of a different famous nintendo dev? i remember running into this due to being interested in obscure, usually japan only, quirky nintendo titles. it's not earthbound, of course... it's something way less known... i remember finding it really interesting... but i can't seem to remember much else lol
