I vividly remember a game I played in the late 2000s about a teenager and his mother who moved into a small town in the middle of nowhere that was completely surrounded by dense forests. I don't remember much about the gameplay but I remember it was a chapter based game and had a dark and gloomy color palette, I also remember it had a 3d art style but anyways it was something along the lines of you playing as a guy who had recently moved into a house in a rural small town along with his mother and the first mission or task that you needed to do was to explore your new town so you had to go into the little downtown area of the town and explore the little shops and talk to the NPCs, basically just get to know your new town, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure it was an open world game but from there you were supposed to buy something from the store that your mom asked you to buy and go back home, I'm pretty sure that was it for the first chapter of the game. In the second chapter you are supposed to explore your new home where you eventually have to stumble into the woods, as you walk through the dense forest you eventually get lost and in an effort to find your house again you just get deeper and deeper into the forests until eventually you have been in the woods for hours and are now severely lost and the sun is starting to set, from there a cutscene plays where your character is starting to panic about getting lost forever while walking in the woods but miraculously spots a tunnel in the distance that seems to have lights coming from the other side, the character gets exited and sprints towards the tunnel which is where the cutscene ends. From there you walk into the dark and vegetation covered tunnel in hopes of finding help on the other side since there is visible lights on the other side that looked like a city. I remember that this tunnel took a long time to cross and eventually once you finally finished crossing the tunnel the second chapter ended and the third chapter began, as soon as you exit the tunnel you find yourself with a massive city on the other side, at this point it was already late at night so there was nobody in the streets but as you look back to the tunnel that you had come from it was no longer there and it had turned into a brick wall, now severely confused you walk into a convenience store where you ask the employee what city are you in and the employee tells you the name of the city but I don't remember what the name was, now you are extremely confused so you ask the employee for a map that you buy with your pocket change and when you look at the map you immediately realize that everything is different, most countries have different names, some continents have completely different shapes, all the states in US are completely different, and the date of the map says it's the 1950s. You quickly start falling into shock as you realize that you have entered a different dimension and right there the third chapter of the game ends. I'm pretty sure this was a beta version of the game since from there you were taken to a screen that said something along the lines of "More content coming soon" but take that with the grain of salt since I'm not very sure. I remember that I never really stayed tuned in for the full game since in that time I found the game kinda boring so I didn't really care that much. I think but I'm not fully sure that the way I found out about the game was from a video on the Internet about the game that I watched and thought the game would be fun so I clicked on a link in the description of the video and got sent to a website where you could download the game. I can't for the life of me find the game nor the video I watched about it, it seems that I searched the entire Internet for it but still to no avail and it hasn't been letting me be since I'm extremely interested in finding that game once again. I'm sorry if my grammar wasn't that good since English isn't my native language. Anyways I'll appreciate any help towards finding this elusive game and thank you in advance.
